Gina D'Orio is a musician, producer, and singer based in Berlin. She is the former lead singer of Ec80r and a member of Cobra Killer. Gina D'Orio started her musical journey at a young age and performed her first gig at the age of 12, just two days after the fall of the Berlin Wall. After leaving her first band, the Lemonbabies, in 1992, she joined Throw that Beat to record the album "Superstar" and embark on a world tour.
Gina D'Orio has released two solo albums. The synth-pop album "Bass Girl," created in collaboration with the Dutch artist Like A Tim, features cover songs from the 50s and 60s. On the other hand, "Sailor Songs" captivates with more instrumental, ambient sounds.
She has worked as a singer for various projects and has been part of various theater and film projects.
