Isabella Bassi is an Italian-Brazilian music composer, sound designer, DJ, and educator living between Berlin and Milan. Over the past six years, she has primarily focused on her project Isabassi, curating guest mix podcasts and radio shows, teaching courses in electronic music production, promoting events, and performing at renowned venues such as Berghain (Säule), Tresor, OHM, ://about blank, and Acud Macht NEU. Her latest album, "Speaking Things," released on Super Hexagon, showcases detailed sound design, complex textures, and prepared guitar experiments, composed in the low-tempo realm heavily influenced by Trip-Hop.
Currently tutoring and studying music therapy, Isabella brings an experiential approach to creative one-on-one studio sessions. These sessions introduce and encourage experimentation and various workflows while simultaneously developing skills and uncovering resources.
